ALAMYCIN LA 300 Antibacterial in injectable solution Laboratory KARIZOO Expert form Injectable solution (Sol.i.) Composition per ml: Oxytetracycline (dihydrate) 300 mg; excipient cs Indications and target species Sheep, Cattle and Pigs: Control and treatment of a wide range of systemic infections, respiratory, urinary and local, caused by organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline. Pasteurellosis, pneumonia, atrophic rhinitis, red disease, arthritis, omphalitis and as supportive therapy in mastitis. Contraindications Animals with a history of hypersensitivity to tetracyclines. Route of administration Deep intramuscular. Posology 30 mg/kg bw (1 ml/10 kg. bw) for a prolonged duration of activity, 5-6 days. Maximum recommended dose at the point of inoculation: Sheep: 5 ml Bovine: 15 ml. Porcine: 10 ml. Piglets: From 1 day: 0,2 ml. From 7 days: 0,3 ml. From 14 days: 0,4 ml. From 21 days: 0,5 ml. Over 21 days: 1 ml. Wait time Meat: – Sheep: 35 days. – Cattle: 35 days. – Pigs: 28 days. Milk: – Sheep: 9 days. – Cattle: 7 days. conservation mode Store in a cool place (below 25 °C ± 2 °C), dry and protected from light. Comments With veterinary prescription.
